New Year’s Concerts 2019 in Amsterdam and Antwerp

André Rieu is thrilled to announce his first tour dates for 2019 . The “King of the Waltz” will return for his traditional New Year’s Concerts to the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam and the Sportpaleis Antwerp.

Amsterdam will take place on Saturday 5th January 2019 at 20.00 pm ; Antwerp on Sunday 6th January 2019 at 20.00 pm.

The traditional festive New Year’s Concerts will celebrate the new year and the beginning of a new World Tour of André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra. Tickets go on sale on Friday, 20th April at 10.00am.

André Rieu: “After touring the world for so many years it’s always a great feeling to start the year with concerts so close to home, with so many of our wonderful fans, friends and family attending. I’m really looking forward to these concerts in Amsterdam and Antwerp.”

André Rieu just performed in Mexico and Israel for over 80.000 fans. The World Tour 2018 continues with concerts in Northern and Eastern Europe, including his first concerts in Bulgaria. He will then play a record breaking thirteen Open Air concerts on the Vrijthof in Maastricht, which will be broadcasted into more than 2.000 cinemas worldwide. This autumn André and his Johann Strauss Orchestra return to the USA, Canada, Argentina, Australia and the UK. Over half a million tickets have already been sold for this year’s tour, making André Rieu once again one of the most popular touring artists of our time.

Tickets for the New Year’s Concerts in Amsterdam and Antwerp are on sale from Friday, 20th April 2018.
